Le Club Vosgien, un partenaire d’exception

A rare gem in the world of hiking

Whether it's a simple bench, a picnic table, a shelter or even a refuge shawl, you will come across many facilities maintained by the Club Vosgien and their volunteers throughout stage 1 of the HexaTrek. Through their trails and their markings of a unique quality in France, you will discover the Vosges mountains and their historical and cultural wealth as well as their remarkable biodiversity.

Soon 150 years!

The Club Vosgien was founded in Saverne in 1872 and celebrates this year 150 years of commitment in the region.

Preservation of the environment, quality itineraries, promotion of heritage, humanity; these are only some of the values put forward by the club.

The Vosgien club is one of the first structures founded specifically to supervise and develop the activity of hiking in France, but also Nordic walking, orienteering and other outdoor activities.

The work of volunteers

With more than 20,000 kilometers of trails crisscrossing the massif, and more than 28,000 volunteer members, the Club Vosgien federation brings together 129 local associations that work to mark out, preserve, and promote the mountain heritage of the Grand-Est.

Residents of the region, we invite you to participate in the various events planned by your local branches this year, to perpetuate the tourism of today and tomorrow in order to share together the Vosges passion.

The HexaTrek association wishes to warmly thank the different branches of the Club Vosgien as well as the Federation for their support, and wishes them great celebrations for this unique and memorable event!

We would also like to thank especially the president of the federation Mr. Alain Ferstler, the director Mrs. Yamina Vaille, and the general inspector of trails and maps Mr. Benoit Messmer for their cooperation.

Have a good hike!
